What to Expect at Gulf Coast Appliances
Gulf Coast Appliances is a small, veteran-owned shop in downtown Milton at 6677 Caroline St, and being small shapes how we work. Here's what that means for you as a customer.
We're a Small Team, Doing a Lot
At most, three people run the store on any given day. Often it's one or two, and sometimes it's just one, because on top of helping customers in the showroom, our team is also out making deliveries. We're not a call center with a dozen people standing by; we're a handful of people covering the sales floor, the phones, and the truck, often at the same time.
Why Texting Beats Calling
If you call and it rings through, it's usually because someone's out on a delivery or already helping a customer in the store, not because we're ignoring you. Text messages let us respond the moment we have a free second, even mid-delivery, instead of making you wait for a callback. If you want the fastest answer about pricing, availability, or scheduling, text (850) 377-8827 rather than calling.
In-Store Customers Come First
When you're standing in front of us picking out a refrigerator or asking questions about a washer, you have our full attention, and we extend that same courtesy to everyone who walks through the door. That means phone calls sometimes have to wait a few minutes while we finish helping the person in front of us. It's a tradeoff we're glad to make, and it's the same tradeoff you'll benefit from when it's your turn in the store.
What This Means for You
- Text first. It's the quickest way to reach us, especially during business hours.
- Be patient with calls. If we don't pick up right away, we'll call or text back as soon as we're free.
- Stop by when you can. Seeing what's in stock in person is often faster than waiting on a description over the phone, since our inventory changes with every truckload.
